Yes folks, today is Donut day (Fat Thursday) in Poland (it's a long story so don't ask). When we arrived at our local bakers this morning there were at least 40 people waiting outside. Supermarkets sell them very cheap. In Carrefour they were 4.89 Zloty for 10 which is around £0.10 each but they are like rubber so we don't bother. So far I have only eaten 3 but the night is young.

London Jewish eatery gets a right kicking from the punters: Our catering correspondent Mr. Mik Vah directs you to the following:
"This has to be one of the worst places to have a meal. Rude, expensive and deceiving, not only over priced but also charged extra for portions not received. If Mcdonalds was a kosher restaurant it would be 5 stars compared to this. Will never go there again and will never recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your time and money here"
